28.34 sensors still bugged after the screen off\standby

So this issue has been going since some beta\public stable versions ago. During activity, if you pause for some time, then turn off the screen to preserve battery, after you wake-up the garmin with power button, it still doesn't properly reconnect all the sensors. Full shutdown and power on is required.

This hasn't been fixed since quite some beta versions ago and is not fixed in the public release stable version either.

  • For me the NO reconnect even seemed to be introduced with this latest public update (I do not use Betas). Have not had it before and now I can reliably reproduce it :-( This makes the Edge 1050 almost unusable for me :-(. If my 530 would still work I would move back without hesitation as that one was way more reliable then the 1050 bug assembly. (Unfortunately my 530 broke during an accident - not a Garmin problem and the old Edges did not have the replacable connector at the back)

  • Yeah, it's been introduced in some beta, and then for several versions, we have reported it but they didn't fix it.. saying that's on their list. However if you ask me thats a top priority bug, not adding some features and whatnot.. you literally can't turn off the screen if you want normal sensors. And now sometimes even a hard reboot after standby makes power meter not connect and so on..

1050 a lovely device as a hardware but so many bugs.. the audio crackle is also still here not fixed..

  • Same problem. If I stop I shut the unit down and sensors reconnect. If I hit sleep nothing reconnects.

  • Same for me. After putting it to sleep at a coffee stop, none of the sensors connected again. It was the end of a ride, so didnt bother too much. Had I switched it off and on again, would my ride still continue, or is it lost?
