Why does the Garmin Connect app remind you that a sensor battery was low... but doesn't remind you that your Garmin device battery was low.

There is a battery level indicator at the top of your screen all the time?

What battery are you talking about? The Garmin Connect phone app doesn't remind you that your separate garmin device battery is low. On the device you get like one notification at 9% and then later an offer to go to battery saver mode. But after an activity, you don't get a reminder to charge your device, while you do get reminders about the sensors.
