Does the map download continue when the device goes to sleep? I have my Garmin 1050 connected to external power and am downloading the North America map. However, the device keeps going into sleep mode, and the download appears to restart each time. If the download continues in the background, that’s fine, but if it does not, I don’t want to spend 10 hours keeping the device awake in order to complete the process.
