Radar RTL515 sleep mode

After update 28.20, my RTL515 radar still works when I put my device to sleep. This has been happening since the previous update, and the problem still hasn't been resolved.

    With me: I turn off my radar when I put my Garmin to sleep and it doens't find my radar after turning back on.

    Hello and thanks for your post.

    Garmin is investigating reports of Varia lights staying on after the paired Edge x40 or Edge 1050 is put to sleep. I have added the accounts here to our investigation so that you can be notified when a fix is available.

    Please reply to let us know if we have your consent to contact you via email to collect additional log data from your device.

    This issue is wider than Varia and x40, it occurs with Explore 2 and Bontrager lights too. I contacted support and first they told me it's Bontrager fault but after showing topics in this forum they acknowledged that this is on Garmins side and told me they are merging this issues. After two months, about a week ago, I contacted them again and they told me that NOTHING WILL BE DONE because it's not widely occuring problem.

    Hi , thanks for your feedback.

    I reviewed your Garmin Support contact history and we advised that you should contact Bontrager (Trek) as well, to see if they can provide any additional insights or troubleshooting with their hardware.

    If it seems like you're experiencing the exact same symptoms, but with a 3rd party light, it is possible Garmin's resolution for Varia will address your concern as well. I can not say for sure and will post here with updates when available.
