How to use OpenMTB Maps with 28.20

Hello,

Since beta and as well now in final version 28.20, OpenMTB maps leave the Garmin Edge 1050 unusable and locked in bootloops as stated already in the beta forum. There is no response from Garmin Support other than: Don't use non-Garmin camps. As this is only reason I chose the Garmin over a Wahoo I cannot state how unstatisfying my experience with Garmin is. Does anyone have any idea on how to get the maps working again?

    Bug still exists in 28.34. Getting worser. Boot loop directly on main menue.

    Edge 850 owner here. Same problem on version 7.09.
    Openmtb maps Netherlands and Germany installed.

    In my case a reboot only occurs when a profile is activated with these maps. I got 3 profiles. Only my mtb profile has openmtb maps enabled. Once the mtb profile is enabled a reboot occurs. I don't even have to look at a map.
    If the device reboots, it will start with last known active profile. If this is my mtb profile it will automatically cause a reboot resulting in a reboot loop.  Quickly choosing a different profile or deactivating the openmtb maps "solves" this problem (you need to do this incredibly quick because reboot occurs very fast)
