WIFI doesn't connect until restarting device

At the end of a ride, my 1050 fails to connect to WIFI and sync. It just says "connecting" and never connects. If I restart the device it works fine. But it's very annoying having to restart the device at the end of every ride. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Sadly, after about 15 days after updating to 28.20, it's the same for me. When attempting to re-connect to my WiFi, it now hangs at "Connecting" unless I re-enter password, and even after that the process…

Any progress here? This is still broken, and has been broken for the entirety I've used the 1050. I have to use the app to upload, and this takes about 10 minutes for a 3 hour ride.

Yes, I have the same issue. Completed rides will not sync over Wi-Fi unless I had restarted the 1050 before my ride or do so afterwards. Simply putting the 1050 to sleep after each ride eventually leads to Wi-Fi disconnecting until another power off and restart.

In Australia, same issue with my 1050 last couple of days, don't recall exactly when I took a firmware update. A restart of the 1050 does upload my activity to Garmin.

Same issue on Edge 1040 Solar. Used to work every time until a couple of months ago. Now I need to restart if every time I get back home for it to connect and sync.

I'm in Australia, have had same issue with my 1050 for at least 2 weeks now, running S/W version 13.14.

Have tried multiple scenarios, including ensuring bluetooth-based Phone sync is disabled on the 1050.

If I re-enter WiFi password, I have been able to re-establish WiFi connection (not sure this is completely consistent though).

Really, really annoying that such a simple feature cannot work and also that activity uploading preparation/progress is so vague, whether via Wifi or Phone/BT sync - ie no indication it's actually intending to do it anytime soon!
