I live in the desert and at the end of my rides, the temps are > 100F. However, the heat acclimation widget says "Train at 72F or hotter to see how you are acclimating". I have location services for Connect set to always. Any other ideas about how I can get this to work? When I had my 1040, it worked great.
where is the nearest official weather station near to You? go to web-based garmin connect, click on the small weather circle on the map, and you will see a detailed info as here: the number after the source is a weather station code, if there is no such a station nearby, especially in the rural areas, or only the other side of a big mountain, the heat acclimation wont work good (it is not using the internal temp data, only the official weather stations)
so what is the code number in your case?
