FW 13.14 Boot Loop - Screen does odd Purple/Black dissolve

I returned from vacation and sync'd my Edge 1050. There were two segment updates and a map update. After rebooting the Edge, I'm now in a boot loop that I cannot recover from using any of the methods posted on Garmin's site. The Edge crashes after "Loading courses and locations..." appears. If I try the Power/Start button combination, the screen turns purple and black and then does an odd dissolve from the center outward.

Been doing this to me whenever I unmount the 1050 from my PC since 13.13. I’ve found that eventually it will boot up, sometimes it’s gone as long as 30 reboots. I’ve been unable to figure out why this is happening.

I let it go until the battery died, and it never booted. Finally, I was able to get it to do a factory reset, and that seems to have worked.

For now.

Until the next update, most likely.

Check that the start/.stop button is not stuck in.
