Maps update - maps in Edge not updating and showing there is a still same map update

Hi, I am trying to update maps in Edge through Garmin Express. It downloads maps (TOPO Europe), finishes process, Garmin restarts. When it checks for updates again, same update is available, I have tried doing it twice and same result?

Anybody got the same problem? What am I doing wrong?

    You can try this procedure (at your own risks):

    1. Plug your Edge to a PC 
    2. Backup the maps folder to another drive on your PC 
    3. Delete all files in map directory except gmapbmap.img
    4. Start Garmin Express 
    5. Choose to download Topo Europe and other maps you might need
    6. Disconnect the Edge and check everything is ok
    7. Finally, you can restore map files from your backup except the ones already downloaded with Garmin Express 

    That's what I did to resolve a similar issue (maps lock icon).

    I had a similar problem.  Garmin express took lots of time and said it was done.  Next time is showed the same updates.   Then I tried the map manager on the device while connected to wifi.  I updated one map.  Afterwards, it seems it had updated all maps....  Not sure quite how or why, but there definately seems to be issures with updateing maps using garmin express.
