Hi, I got my Edge 1050 three days ago, got it set up, and noticed that the software is severely outdated (couldn't install any IQ apps). Thus, for the last three days I've been trying to update this thing to version 13. I am fairly tech-savvy and did all my general troubleshooting (Garmin Express vs Garmin Connect, on the device via WiFi, Bluetooth, macOS vs Windows 11 machines, hard reset, device reset, different cables, etc.). No luck. I finally reached out to Garmin support and I worked with them and sent the report/logs via Garmin Express, they found no issues, thus now escalated it to their engineers. Am I missing something here? Why is it so hard to get a simple software update out of the box? I was very excited about this bike computer, but now I am losing faith in Garmin. I would appreciate any words of wisdom or encouragement here. Thanks in advance!
