13.13 "open connection" warnings on install for every sensor

Literally every sensor on my bike hit me with a warning after I installed 13.13.  Is this necessary?

    It is necessary to avoid troubles with the EU and their regularies…

    The ANT+ membership and product certification programs will end on June 30, 2025, along with the associated engineering support. This change is driven by the evolving regulatory landscape, specifically the EU Radio Equipment Directive (RED) which requires authentication and encryption for wireless communications of personal information. While existing ANT+ devices will continue to function, new development and certification of ANT+ products will be discontinued.

    The EU has become really annoying for us outside the EU. All the constant browser cookie stuff is really insufferable too, and a bigger problem.

    If only the Edge 1050 had GPS functionality and could detect my location.
