Varia headlight and radar not auto turned off when 1050 is turned off

Both my wife's 1050 and mine are running on the same beta software (13.10), but weird that this issue only happens to her not me. Light network did form on her 1050 and both can be controlled from the computer, e.g., changing mode, testing etc. 

Also, they used to work fine and all of a sudden it happened. I don't think it's related to the beta software either, because the same issue happened even before I upgraded it to beta.

    Could try re-pairing the Varia with the 1050. Mine takes about 10s to turn off after I end a ride or turn the unit off. Is that the same as yours? I’m not on the beta software.

    oh and do you both have the same model Varia?

    Thanks! I did tried repairing but it didn't help. I've waited more much longer than 10s but both stayed on. 

    I don't think it's a beta firmware issue either, as I mentioned in the post, it happened even before I upgraded the firmware.

    I use a 1050 with a Varia RCT715. I got a Varia Vue last week. I had issues early on getting the automatic start and stop to work, but now it seems to work automatically. 

    I have the RCT715 set to record video on radar activity and the Varia Vue set to record continuously. The behavior of the system for me is this:

    • The RCT715 starts up and begins flashing when I start a ride on the 1050
    • The Varia Vue starts recording right away, when I turn the 1050 on
    • The Varia Vue light starts flashing after I start my ride on the 1050
    • The RCT715 turns off when I end my ride on the 1050
    • The Varia Vue light stops when I end my ride on the 1050
    • The Varia Vue recording stops when I turn the 1050 off

    What I think is wrong is that the Varia Vue should start and stop recording video when I start and end rides on the 1050, not when I power the 1050 on and off. IOW: I want it to work consistently with the RCT715.
