Climbprofile after climb different than prompted before.

Before every climb there’s a prompt with the profile of the climb. After the climb I always receive a totally different, more detailled climb. I bought this flagship for the climbpro details.. this is driving me nuts. Most climbs look easy and then you get these steep gradients .. Example;

1. Gpx uploaded in Garmin Connect. (It stays the same if you make a copy of a course “adapted with Garmin GPS details”

2. The climb after the ride, in Garmin Connect

It’s not even the same distance.. and it goes on with every single climb, in each ride

This is how it looks after the climb on the device;

I tried everything, even resetting the whole device. The customer support is really frustrating, they don’t even listen and eventually told me everything is solved by enrolling for Beta, which of course wasn’t true.

Anyone with insights?

    So the prompt before you start is a projection of the climb using the map and DEM data or the course file data if following a course. The post climb uses the actually data the unit gathered. 

    What is the source for the GPX data you are uploading?

    various sources. Doesn't matter if the file is synced with f.e. Komoot or when someone sends the file by whatsapp. And as stated, if I duplicate the course (adjusted with Garmin altimeters) the projection remains the same.
