Edge 1050 and Assioma DUO not picking up cadence?

Hello everyone,

I have been in the Garmin ecosystem for a few years and I recently ran into a problem when trying to connect sensors to my new 1050.

I have Assioma duo pedals that have worked as my power meter and cadence sensors for years. They still work on my Edge 1030 and my Tactix Delta, but I cannot get them to show up as anything other than power on my 1050.

The 1050 only picks them up as power and they never show up even when I try to discover cadence sensors.

I tried a new set up with sensor transfer, same issue, new install, same issue.

I also played with data fields on the 1050 for cadence and still have the problem.

The Assioma DUOs are not broken because they still show up as power/cadence on my other devices.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Any ways to finally get it sorted?

Mine are paired only as power but work fine displaying both power and cadence normally. Paired as easily on the 1050 as on my 830 and watches.

Hello and thank you for your response... I did another fresh install and cadence popped up, but it will not display average cadence as I can on my other devices. Are you able to see average cadence in your set up or live cadence?

FWIW: It will only show average cadence while recording an activity. i.e. after hitting the start button.

I will give that a try, I have only tried it on the data screen without starting a session... thanks!
