beta 12.11 display shows incorrect rider location

Posting this here as the beta forum won't let me upload a picture. On a ride today, the location arrow was in completely the wrong place, I thought it was a GPS issue, but it wasn't.

Every now and again it would catch up and be OK briefly, but most of the time it was broken like the images below.

    I‘m not sure if it could be that… but check your settings for „lock on roads“ in navigation menu. If checked - uncheck it!

    Thanks for the idea, I don’t recall setting it but lock on roads was on. I’ve used it on older Garmins with worse GPS but the 1050 should be accurate enough without it. 
    However, I just noticed that the cycle map for my location (Europe, West) was mysteriously disabled, which also explains a routing error I had. No idea how that happened as it’s buried in a few menus. Have enabled it and hopefully it will be resolved, but turning off lock on roads too just in case.
