Mid-ride spontaneous reboots are continuing...

I am using a Garmin Edge 1050 with software version 11.24 (Nov 27 2024), with MapDashboardMS as the only installed Connect IQ app.

On at least three rides in the last two weeks, the Garmin has spontaneously rebooted. This has happened twice on two of those rides, in fact.

Like others have reported, when booted up again, I can press the lower right external button to resume activity recording - so the recording is apparently missing only the half mile or so of dead time, I guess. On one of those three occasions, the Garmin apparently stopped logging location entries into the activity log file, resulting in a freakout map (but apparently accurate mileage other than the dead times, strangely, so that it knew in real time where I was and what the course called for next, but did not record that location in the log of the activity perhaps?). See https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/17876339425. The reboots occurred on this ride (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/17917020449) and this one (https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/17899000219) as well. All on version 11.24.

So, Garmin. Please fix this or indicate what workaround I can try to avoid it happening. As you know, the first priority of any bike computer is rock-solid reliability in activity recording. My beloved Garmin Edge 1040, despite its inferior display (and correspondingly much greater battery life), did not, by the way, experience these spontaneous reboots. But it would be regrettable to shift back to that and lose the lovely Garmin Edge 1050 display...
