I use my galaxy watch 6 running wearos as a heart rate monitor. It can broadcast the hr info using ble. I can receive the info on any fitness app running on my tablet( such as rouvy).
However, the garmin edge cannot "see" the connection request from the watch. To the 1050, the watch is invisible.
Please consider updating the ble connection protocols to recognize hr data from wearos/ galaxy/pixel smartwatches.
