Touchscreen not sensitive enough using winter gloves, unable to swipe through anything during a ride.
I actually had to remove my glove to make it work.
Not acceptable for a device which has cost 750 euros. Garmin wake up and fix this.

I find it depends on the gloves. Winter gloves that are designated as touch-screen compatible can work well. These have fingertips with electrical properties that work well with touch screens. My older gloves don't have this and don't work but my newer gloves do.
I rode this morning and the screen responded to touches initially but after a while it stopped responding. It was 3°c. I have used the same gloves on the device previously and not had this problem. Is is something to do with outside temperature? It's painful to have to stop and take your gloves off to change something and what was noticeable was that even with gloves off it still took several swipes to do anything i.e. The device was not responding as it should. The weather for the next few days should allow me to check this theory!
Looks like this is being investigated by Garmin.
