1050 points to the wrong directions at roundabouts and turns

When approaching a turn or roundabout the direction arrow point to the wrong direction while the voice alerts the right exit or direction.

This happens all the time while riding in Australia.

I read that UK riders face similar problem.

Any solution?

I have re-drawn that roundabout to see if it fixes it. It think it was because it the roundabout was drawn in two halves, to split the bus route designations. That possibly confused things.

Also saw the same riding in NZ yesterday. I thought this had previously fixed but the icon in the top left showed a roundabout for those contries that use right-hand traffic

Yes same here but strangely not all roundabouts. This was a problem way back in the days of my Edge 1030+ and I am sure was fixed. Appears to have been reintroduced.

I noticed new maps were released. I think they had the fix last time. I’ve updated mine but not had a chance to check if it’s resolved yet.

Do you find it on all roundabouts?

Can you specify a roundabout on which it always happens?

i know that I inadvertently drew an OSM map cycle route around the roundabout the wrong way once. I realised pretty quickly when my Garmin routed me the wrong way around the roundabout.

If you provide an example I’ll check OSM and see if that’s the issue.

The roundabout direct comes from the map data. Not sure when the maps you have were last updated. This issue was only fixed on the UK maps in the last update I think.

What version are they?

I updated to the latest after this issue, was hoping it had been fixed but not been out riding since, so thanks for confirming.

Having said all that, technically the map was correct, the one-way designations were correct.

Maybe not and it’s a Garmin issue. We will see.

There are so many errors in that screenshot though.
2nd exit not 3rd, wrong graphic, wrong route. But I think it comes from the map.

obviously, if I have affected it, no improvement will show up until Garmin’s next round of map update.
