Yesterday I did a ride and while I was riding the Garmin climb data was recording correctly and I ended the ride with around 4000 metre of elevation ( which is high for the course, but not the point of this issue).
I stopped the ride and saved it and my elevation dropped to 1775m.
I investigated the issue and found a number of the climbs had a distance but no elevation data.
also when to look at the course profile in Garmin correct it shows the right profiles and elevation which would no add up to 1775 so there seem to be a software bug in the system
