Outdoor maps+ on Edge 1050

I found it very strange that Outdoor Maps+ works om a lite small watch but not in Edge 1050. When I purchased the Outdoor map+ the Garmin ream told that it’s possible to use the maps in more than one device. I took it for geanted that the maps should work in edge. Does the garmin team have any plans to fix that?

It is possible to use it on more than one device, but Edge 1050 is not compatible to this product!

Garmin is not wrong, Outdoor Maps+ can be used on multiple devices. But the devices have to support Outdoor Maps+, and the Edge 1050 does not support Outdoor Maps+...
