Edge 1050 - always reports distance and ascent PRs / no auto-sync

Hello,

At activity completion, my Edge 1050 always reports distance and ascent PRs, regardless of activity duration and distance. Why?

Secondly, why does the device NEVER auto-sync with Garmin Connect at activity completion? I always have to manually sync via my phone. I've tried restarting phone and device, as well as removing and re-adding device in Connect.

1) you have to accept your new record!
If you don‘t: each ride will be a record!

2) unfortunately I don‘t know… my Edge always synchs after saving an activity immediately.

Thanks guys - that was an easy one! Now to find out why I'm not auto-syncing. My other device (Karoo 2) detects my Wi-Fi and has uploaded the activity before I'm even in the house.
