Radar Icon drives me nuts

Is it really needed to have such a large icon in the top right - this covers a lot of data fields …..

could we make it -

smaller
transparent
flashing

Flashing is currently reserved as a warning if it disconnects during a ride.

Totally agree with the size. It could be 50% smaller and I'd be fine with it

+1. Ridiculous as is the always on zoom/pan button on the map page and the low battery warning where you have to click the checkmark to get rid of it. I just want to see my datafields or my map instead of all that nanny junk.

Even a wee green or red dot would be less obscuring - if they is a legal reason for having it.

can put up some screen shots of the obscuring it creates

I'm sure there are legal reasons or at least legal concerns that the status must be visible all the time.

Yes, it could be smaller - agree.
But just out of curiosity: Which data fields are (partially) covered on your device so that they cannot be read?
