There's an issue here. Sometimes 1050 isn't able to reconnect. Sometimes it does... however, it drops the connection for good after ~10 minutes. Force-turning it off helped however it strongly advised stopping my activity, but I did not want to. So it's better not to put the device into sleep during any stops during the ride. You can find the screenshot from the activity when it happened.
As you can see below it dropped the connection to my power meter and heart rate (the cadence is served by the power meter). The GPS data (speed + altitude) is served by the internal sensors so I believe that's the reason they kept working. 
Anyways, after putting my device to sleep it is generally not able to connect them back.
