Ride your bike and see what is happening/is missing/doesn't work/annoys you and then look/ask how to solve it. When Garmin introduce a new product you are the beta tester.

View some review videos, must be hundreds, those by DC RAINMAKER and GPLAMA are probably most worthwhile, the features & interface are mostly the sam as 1040 so some videos on that also worthwhile, try…
