Constant power dropouts when following a training plan on edge 1050

Hi, hopefully someone can help. I have switched from Trainerroad to try out the new Garmin Training plans and do it indoor.
My kickr v 5 (I think) connects to my Edge 1050. But I seem to get Constant power dropouts when following the training plan on the edge. Power numbers just keep dropping and the resistance of the training just doesn’t seem to kick in. 

I was doing sprint training and had a warm up of say 150w for 10 mins and the numbers just kept dropping the whole time on the Edge 1050 then was the same during the sprints but the resistance seemed to change for the 1st  8. Then just seemed like it didn’t change the resistance at all for the rest of the ride. 

I don’t know if it’s actually losing connection to the kickr or just shows as it is  

Only thing I had connected to the Edge 1050 was my phone, Kickr and Garmin HR Pro strap. 


Anyone else having these problems?
