POI Loader doesn't work with Edge 1050?

Anyone get POI Loader to work with the Edge 1050?  Although the POI Loader website at https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=5IgMIBdkJN5M7CzMmytjs6 says POI Loader is not compatible with the Edge 1030 Plus, it worked perfectly on my unit.  However, when I used the exact same procedure on my Edge 1050, it did not work.  I got no errors, but the unit doesn't display any of my POI's.  I tried renaming the .gpi file and moving it to a different location, but it made no difference.  It appears the Edge 1050 does not look for the .gpi file.  Maybe a firmware upgrade will restore the functionality.

    Well, have I got egg on my face!  After further investigation, I discovered POI Loader DOES work with the Edge 1050.  The reason my POI's did not appear is because they were too small, due to the higher resolution of the 1050.  I will have to upsize my POI icons.  Sorry for the false alarm.
