Edge 1050 corrupting FIT files

First time I've ever seen this on any Garmin unit. I rode on Sunday, and my Edge deleted 75% of my data. I stopped and powered down the unit mid-ride. When I ended the ride, the totals were all right, but FIT file only saved the last five miles after I powered it back.

I found the same issue running 9.11.

Yesterday I stopped my ride and then put the unit in sleep mode (instead of power off) for a couple minutes. Woke it back up and restarted my ride, all of my data was there at the conclusion.
