Have you given Garmin Connect all permissions?

of course, all permissions are turned on

and the latest firmware (9.11) is used

Have started your music player on your phone so it is in a active state. Then when viewing the Music Control page on the Edge 1050 is still does not update displaying the title and name of what is playing back? I just gave this a try using Garmin Connect Mobile iOS connected to the Edge 1050 and Apple Podcast without issue. What smart phone and music player are you using?

First of all hanks for your help Steven.

Currently, reinstalling the widget seems to have resolved the issue.
