How to get former maps from micro-SD-card to Edge 1050 ?

I tried to copy my Germany TOPO v7 Map to Garmin/Maps (gmapsupp.unl, gmapsupp.inm and gmapsupp.gma) but I can't find the map on my edge.

Is here any way to use these former cards on the Edge 1050 ?

If you purchased the maps on the SD card then it is not possible to use the maps on the Edge 1050. The maps are locked to the SD card. Copying the files won't work.

If you purchased the maps as download for a different device, they also cannot be used on the Edge 1050 because the maps are then locked to the device you purchased them for. You could ask Garmin if they can transfer the maps to the Edge but no guarantee that they will honor this request.

Thank you for your tip. I just phoned with Garmin support.

They don’t make the transfer with unlocking to new Edge 1050. They only make me an offer to buy new maps with a 20% drop in prize.

I am a bit frustrated now because about 4 maps (Germany topo, transalp, northern france, southern france) are now completely worthless for me.

Maybe I change now to openMTBMaps.
