Continuing the mount theme.....as others have found, the k-edge mount for the enve aero road stem is too short to rotate the Edge 1050 without stressing it. It's a custom fitting into the stem cap so I didn't have high hopes for sorting it out neatly. I found framesandgear.com have a connector though and gave their mount a try -
They have a long Garmin 1050 specific part - let them know you want this bit at time of ordering.
Pretty pleased. Mount is articulated so there's some angle adjustment and also the ability change the arm piece in the future without disturbing the stem cap (which I've broken once during fitting :( )
Just sharing my observations - I'm not linked to these guys but if I didn't have good interactions with them I wouldn't be sharing,
