failed to get basemap version

Hello,

I'm a member of Beta program the last firmware had installed and during the starting process I've got this message "Failed to get Baseman version"

Plug in Edge to the computer and reinstall the maps via Garmin Express. That sould also bring the basemap back.

I had the same issue and not even installing the maps again fixed the issue. The only way to fix it was copying the basemap file in the Maps folder of the 1050.

Todo that you should have an access with the 1050 connected to a PC or Apple computer I try to connect the 1050 to my Apple MacBook Air never succeeded

Thank’s I’ve got downloaded the program and install it but I can’t modify the file with .txt to put inside my last and first name when the gps start

have you any idea why I can’t to modify the file

Copy file to PC. Modify on PC Save on Edge

Removing and reloading the maps worked for me too!
