Garmin: PLEASE say goodbye to the annoying 100 courses limit

New model, old problems...
I still don't understand why Garmin only allows ridiculous 100 routes to be stored on their top-level devices. There is enough storage space. 100 routes is really very little.
Please give us at least 200 routes! That should be possible without major problems via firmware update.

Or at least give me a plausible explanation for this absolute anachronism.

    So your proposal in 2024, where the global tech trend is to try and automate as much as possible to make the end-user life easier, is to go backwards and fiddle around with copying files back and forth when needed. Not sure I agree with that approach. Also have you tried connecting a Garmin Edge 1050 (has different USB profile connection vs all previous Garmins) on a Mac and browse the internal directory to take files out...well it does not work as it does not work out of the box. See link at the end. When you buy a premium product you expect a premium service and not messing around with copying files.
