Colors of route

Hello,

When navigating with Edge 1050 some segments of the route ahead are red and some of them are green.
Why isn't the color consistent? What do the red/green colors means?

The color of main paved roads is similar to the color of the route ahead. Can I change the colors so the route would be clearer (not similar to any color of the map)?

I was wondering the same thing about the green line! Would like to know the answer to this also. I believe you can change the color of a route / course in the course settings.

It could be the colored marking of the Climb Pro sections. When Climb Pro is activated this is normal, when Climb Pro is deactivated it is a bug that has been fixed in Beta Software 10.05.

It sounds like it is the ClimbPro feature where it will color code and show the climbs that are on the route you are following.

Thank you for your answer. You are probably right. ClimbPro was activated. Are the green parts the climbs?

Is there any way to set the color of the route so it won't be similar to any of the colors of the map? (the default red color is very similar to the one of main roads)

There are different colors for climbs according to their catergory.

No, color of the loaded course is always purple and you cannot change that.

5148822 as mcinner1 well knows you can on 530 / 830 / 1030 / 540 / 840 / 1040 via MapTheme customisation but not on the 1050 where the Maptheme has been removed, a very questionable "enhancement" IMO, 1050 deal breaker for me.

Thanks. It could also be a deal breaker for me if I had known that before purchasing the Edge 1050.
