I used the bike alarm feature on my 1040 frequently. I ride to a local microbrewery. I lean my bike up against a wall of their outdoor seating area (after asking staff if that was OK--they have no bike racks). I then sit at the bar directly in line with where I left my bike. With the 1040, my phone remained connected to the 1040 the entire time, and the alarm would not go off unless the bike actually got moved.
The alarm on my 1050 is unusable. It goes off all the time, and the bike is not being moved. It's either crazy sensitive or just completely broken. I suspect completely broken, as yesterday when it happened, there was essentially no wind. I got the recent update and was hoping that would fix it, but alas, as evidenced by yesterday, it did not.
I don't want to have to go back to the 1040 (much of my riding is on trails, and I love the bell feature in the 1050).
Anyone else having this issue?
