1050 stuck in reboot loop. I see the Garmin screen, battery % starts to load up some, sometimes will see the home screen for a bit then reboots back to Garmin screen. I can see the file system connected to a Win PC. Help!!

I would suggest removing anything in the Newfiles folder and the RemoteSW.
What software build is the unit on?
Removed files from the directories but no change. The way it was running was weird looking but was working fine. "About" said 9.09 (sideloaded) and at the bottom was something about reloading 9.11 package. I did the 9.09 and 9.11 updates via wifi OTA
When I connect it back to PC it takes many reboot cycles until I get lucky and Windows will see and mount it. Im still waiting for it to happen
Edit: Its actually once it stops trying to boot is when it is visible.
I was able to correct this, Sadly I have to report that Garmin support was absolutely worthless. Total waste of time. After messing with it more I figured out that a profile setting somewhere was corrupt which caused it to crash after it booted. I tried different button combos and found that holding all 3 down for a while caused a factory reset. If I let it import the profiles, back to crash loop. I set the profiles up from scratch and seems good. Still have to set up a few more things but think I am OK
Went on 40 mi ride this morning and all is good.
I have the same problem. Endless reboots . Any idea on how to solve this?
Same problem for me. Any idea how to solve this?
Did you try the fix that worked for me? Hold all 3 buttons down to force factory reset. Dont import any ride profiles. Create from scratch.
Hi Smanley,
I just tried it again and it keeps rebooting even if not connected to my existing profile or even to my phone.
Then I will loose all my history?
And no possibility to connect to my phone and update?
That would be massive regression for a 700 € device...
