Sending a route from an edge 1030+ to a 1050

Good morning.
I am French and use a translator. On my edge 1030+ I had the possibility via the connect transfer function menu between devices to be able to send routes to another GPS. I don't have this function on my EDGE 1050. Who can explain to me how to transfer routes wirelessly with the 1050?
I specify that I installed the latest update on my 1050

Do you mean transferring a course between different Edge devices? This can be done via the Garmin Share feature, available between any Edge x40 series with beta firmware and 1050, and also coming to modern Garmin smart watches. Sharing between older devices and a 1050 is not possible anymore as far as I know.

actually I tried with the 1030+ it doesn't work, yet the device is not that old!!!!!

You can use the Garmin Connect website, and there simply go to your route or course and send it to your device (wirelessly), just do sync after that with your phone.

yes it is but it was possibly easy to share a route while being outside with another cyclist who does not have the share function

True, the Edge 1030 Plus doesn't support Garmin Share.

I have the same issue, before easy to share courses with friends when starting to bike. Now not possible anymore with my new 1050. Hope Garmin works on this, as it was a great feature
