The 1050 charges much faster than the 1040

Just a note

When charging the 1040 from an Anker 737 power bank that displays how many watts it is delivering to the device being charged

The 1040 solar maxed out around 3-4w

The 1050 was accepting 10-13w for a while when the battery was low the last charge

Yep, noticeable in how warm the device gets when charging! In some ways it's a good thing, but rapid charging does take a toll on long-term battery life.

Yeah good point I have a couple of other devices that don't like to be plugged in and charging forever, they're not smart enough to stop accepting charge when fully charged (any shokz headphones). I use an older smaller version of this thing and an original iphone 5w charger to give the device a fixed amount of charging time. I'll probably use that to charge the 1050.
