Touchscreen Sensitivity - Missed Touches

Anyone having issues with touchscreen sensitivity?  ~10-15% of the time i try to hit a button on the screen nothing happens and I have to try to press it again.  Sometimes I'll have to try multiple times before I get it.  Can the sensitivity be adjusted?  I wasn't able to find anything in any of the settings for it.

I went back to my 830 to compare and that very rarely misses a touch. One thing I noticed that helps on the 830 interface is every button you touch changes the background to let you know its been touched, whereas not everything does on the 1050 - for example the back button on the top left on some of the screens.

  • This device has a major problem. The touch screen is not touch resistive but capacitive. I've noticed the problem when temperatures fall below 15 Celsius when using gloves (that are conductive btw). Never had this issue with my previous device. This design completely puts out of the question the usage in conditions where gloves are necessary. I usually train on the mountain, and I can't afford to remove my gloves to operate the device.
