Since I am a developer for Edge datafields, I did some tests using datafields on Edge 1050.
I found out, that overloading a user profile with different datafields on different screens leeds to graphical problems.
One can check, if it is too much work for the processor: watch the spinning circled arrows in the sensor (search) line:
When the arrow circle spins smoothly - all is ok.
But on a certain load of IQ datafield, the arrows circle starts to jerk - more or less. If the circled arrows start to make noticable pauses - you‘ve got a problem then with all graphical movements. I.e.: scrolling texts does not work smoothly, wiping screens up/down or left/right does not work smoothly anymore. I cannot recall that I saw this on 1040 happen…
