- Its close. A couple more mm and it would work.
I disagree. It is kind of a Garmin issue because there is and has been an industry standard for mounting computers for a long time. This is why it has not been necessary to by a new aftermarket mount even…
I created a 5mm spacer and uploaded the design to Printables

K-Edge is already aware of the issue, and should address the issue with a longer version of the Future mount, as I have already stated earlier.
K-Edge will be introducing a longer version of their existing 'Future' mount.
I would need a version of their Specialized mount that would work with the 1050
Maybe they can help you out: https://www.closethegap.cc/
Under 'Products' you find possible solutions for may brands of bikes. To be sure if the Edge 1050 will fit you may contact Customer Support.
The Garmin mount to fit needs to connect to this Even a spacer that would extend the mount out a few mm would work for now the included mount is fine

Mine works with the Specialized mount on a Venge stem. Only just though, it’s too close for my liking, and I’m waiting for either framesandgear.com or K-Edge to bring one out slightly longer.
Yes that looks very tight. You have a bit more space than I do on a Roubaix. A small spacer that fit right would be nice fix
Changed the subject since I made an easy fix. Hopefully it works for others. I cut two strips of rubber and used them to space out the mount. Had to also use a longer screw. It now has a bit of a shock absorbed feel to it. Haven’t ridden it yet
I was going to 3d print a spacer and use a longer bolt, but as I haven’t got my 1050 yet I haven’t bothered.
If anyone here can 3D print a spacer I’d be interested in one. I’m in USA.
