Chainring shift alerts

My Edge 1040 and 1030 both alerted me when the next synchronized shift would change the chainring gear. This works with both Di2 and AXS. Riding with the 1050 on two rides, I have not received these alerts with my AXS shifter in synchronized mode. Is this not supported with the 1050 or is there a setting I need to make for this feature to work. It is super helpful.

Should be supported.

I don't have an AXS system. but I check it with a Di2 system on Monday.

Have you checked your AXS is actually paired with the Edge, with the gearing info showing on the relevant page?

Having done some research on this the SRAM system on the Edge currently only supports the end of gear range alert. The next synchro shift alert is currently only a Di2 implementation.

I'm guessing that you might be mixing up the end of range alert on the SRAM system with a synchro event alert?

I do get the end of range alert. I thought I received next synchro shift alert on both Di2 and AXS, but it seems I am mistaken about that. Thanks for sharing your research results!
