1050 Hidden menu

With the previous Garmin edge 1040 you could access a "hidden" menu by long pressing the right arrow from the < home > pop-up.

This was useful for the screen recording feature in beta firmware.

Any idea how to do it with the 1050? or do we have to wait for the beta?

You have to press about where the previous right arrow was, to the right & below the home symbol, not actually on the home symbol, I took a few goes to get the right spot

After a bit of persistence, I got it. Its best described as a hold the Be in "Bell" on the screen.

Found thanks to GPLAMA but no screen recording function on latest 1040 beta (The menu is available all versions but screen recording has only been on betas on 1040)

Thanks L.R. Yet I wasn't able to get it to work. Pressed and held the little house (home) bottom right many times without success. I will try with the next firmware.

Sneaky sneaky 'hidden' menu... Even though Ive ran into that on other less polished devices, as well as devices that have an series of upgrades within it 'family', just as the edge does, it just completely eluded me this time. Thanks for the info!
