I cannot tell if you if it fits, but the distance from the center of the quarter turn mount to the bottom of the unit is around 65 mm. You would then need additional space to operate the buttons on the bottom on the Edge unless the mount places those button above the bar so that you can access them.

According to the gplama review, the position of the quarter turn has moved compared to the 1040.

Is your information based on a 1040 or a 1050?

The 1050.

At the moment i have 54mm.

I can move the inner piece for the garmin 10mm so than i will have 64mm space. This Will be just enough to mount the 1050. 

If you turn your 1040 or 1030 upside down and it works then the 1050 will also fit.

It's tight, but it fits - i have an older 2019 Canyon Ultimate and use an original Canyon mount:

Would it also be possible to post a picture of the canyon mount without the 1050? This way i can see if i have the same holder.
