Why "release" it and not be available for 5-8 weeks? At this point it feels like a kickstarter. Oh well, I'll place my order as usual...

Check your local bike shops. My local shop had 2 in stock....I of course purchase one!
Nice! Do you use Varia and if so how loud is the Vario alert? I get the impression that the bell and voice prompts are loud but the tones are much lower in volume. I like the ability to have a super loud…
I just found one local and headed to pick it up. Will be cancelling my order with Garmin.
When I woke up this morning on the east cost of the US and saw the announcement I looked on Garmin's website. It stated 1-3 days. I waited until my lunch how to read up on the device before ordering. I also see the 5-8 weeks now that I have decided I want to upgrade.
Probably just had a huge influx early adaptors buying them and already burned through the initial stock.
This morning at 7 am was showing 1 - 3 days and after watching GP Lama review, like 8:30 am went up to 5 - 8 weeks. Then an hour later changed back to 1 - 3 days and just when I was ready to place the order, changed back again to 5 - 8 weeks. LOL At this point I'm going to wait until it is available from retailers or back to 1 - 3 days at Garmin website. Chat person told me 5 - 8 weeks but that could change depending on availability.
Showing now as despatch 1st July on Sigma Sports, had an online chat with them and they said my order fell into their initial stock order allocation from Garmin, they just hadn't arrived and been processed through the warehouse at that point. Fingers crossed...
Garmin in the US still shows 5 - 8 weeks. A couple of US retailers are showing delivery for the week of July 1st. Most big US retailers, including Amazon, still don't have it in their listings.
