I have owned this Garmin Edge 1040 solar for two years. It has all of a sudden stopped responding to charging. I've tried using different power sockets, does not charge in the sun and I have pressed the power button for 45 - 60 seconds as suggested in previous complaints.
Unsure its under warranty anymore. I will my use mobile phone to record my rides via Strava App. If I have to purchase another product, I may choose another brand.
These Garmin are very expensive and only lasting 2 years?!!
