Hi all. I never ride with music playing, but do often listen to spoken word podcasts in one ear using a wireless earbud. At this time of year (winter) I use the head unit to skip adverts on the podcast app (Podcast Addict). After doing that a time or two, I often find that the "now playing" item has changed from the podcast to the last song that I was listening to on Spotify. If I don't notice that and press the skip forward button, I end up skipping a song and listening to the next song on Spotify. The only way to correct that is to stop riding, de-glove, dig my phone out and manually re-start the podcast.
I strongly suspect that this highly irritating glitch emanates from my Pixel 10 phone, but I cannot find a way to stop it. Even if I haven't used Spotify since restarting the phone, or if I force stop the music app, the switch still occurs.
I'd appreciate any thoughts of how to permanently sever any connection between Spotify and my 1040 Solar.
