Automatic FTP detection cannot be reactivated

After manually adjusting the FTP value, I can no longer switch to automatic detection.
The software requires sensors, but these are already present and connected.
Even removing and re-detecting the power and chest strap sensors does not help.

    I think you are in wrong place in the menu.

    Sounds like you are actually trying to start a FTP test, which requires sensors.

    There has been no explicit FTP test since the end of 2024. Garmin has removed it from the menu. 
    No, I'm not trying to start an FTP test.

    The Edge also requires the appropriate sensors to set up automatic FTP detection.
    My Stats > Power > FTP > ... Auto Detect FTP.
    I have these sensors, as automatic detection had already been successfully set up before.
    As I wrote, I only turned them off briefly and corrected the value manually.
    Now I can no longer reactivate automatic FTP detection.
    As I wrote, the software requires sensors, even though they are installed.
    Of course, I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the sensors. (powermeter and chest strap)
