Edge 1040 SW 29.22 - crazy colour scheme

Is it just my Edge 1040 messed up somehow or does everyone have the same? After update to 29.22 yesterday from previous version I now have different colour scheme in all graphs pretty much. I have not had a problem with previous one but with this one sy on power graph some zones are displayed as pale yellow which is barely visible on white MIP screens. Besides previous colour schemes made sense ish when the zones progressively went more red and darker as they get higher, this new one is all over the place going invisible yellow then orenge, red and then for some reason purple?? It honestly screws my eyes when I am on a trainer and does not make you brain distinguish whether you work too hard from a glance.

Why Garmin ? Why change what doe not need changing...

Same, and also there was AVG and MAX fields on Graphs, now only current value

I still have average/max on Power graph I think. Although I may not have paid enough attention with wacky yellow colour driving me nuts. Will check it on a Monday's ride session.

Just checked, - I had 4A layout so 4 graphs - speed power HR and cadence. And after update really no AVG and MAX. But if i change to 3A layout - they added AVG and MAX. So now i need to play around with layout

Interesting - I have more fields layout (6 I think).

Update: checked today - I have 7-B screen layout and power graph there has max and avg. It’s just idiotic colour scheme that is makes my eyes bleed…

Setting up the layouts on the device are one thing that I wish Garmin would address. Using an app with WYSIWYG to configure would make this product so much better. I just set up my training profile and forgot how to add my SRAM ETap gears. Not very intuitive.

The new color scheme on the graphs is horrible indeed. Too low contrast. Have not found a setting to change the colors back to what they were.

What's also funny: in the post ride screens, when you check the distribution of time of your power or HR zones, they still use the old (good) color scheme..

Hope someone from Garmin reads this and gets it changed back for the next update

Yes, I really hope they can revert this change, or fix the bug if it was not intentionally?
