Why isn't there a way to report very quickly a fountain or any other water source? Maybe instead of the dog, which I find quite useless for people who pass by that place an hour later or a few days later. I'using a beautiful Edge 1040!

you can report the non-existent fountains in openstreetmaps (the Garmin Topoactive maps are based on that) and in the next Topoactive update you will receive these new things. it works like that.
there is such a feature: navigation->search and water stops: ( i dont think that there is newer water sources than what is in the map already)

That's true, it would be a great feature. Cyclists could report the locations of water sources with drinkable water, and Garmin could then add them to the map. Just like stationary speed cameras are reported on Garmin road devices.
